Souverän statt schreckhaft: Richtig reagieren im Fall von Rassismus-Beschwerden (DE / DGS, if needed) – on-site
Nobody wants racism in the office. Of course. But sometimes it does happen –
someone complains to HR or their superiors about a racist incident in the company. How can bosses and HR check the accusation? How to react appropriately? Short term? Medium term? And in the long run? The practice-oriented breakout session provides guidance. It is aimed in particular at people who are currently or will be in management positions. The breakout session is also suitable for HR employees and other internal multipliers such as AGG, equal opportunities and diversity officers, works councils and staff councils. No prior knowledge is required.
Anna Thwaites (she/they)
Regenbogenfamilien in Unternehmen: Die rechtliche Lage, status quo und Herausforderungen (DE / DGS, if needed) – on-site
This format focuses on the legal situation of rainbow families in the workplace. Where can support begin? What structures should be established in order to ensure a sustainable commitment? At the same time, the session also invites you to have an open discussion and reflect on the status quo in your own company and possible challenges in dealing with the topic.
Dr. Antonia Wadé (she/her)
Kai Hülsmann (he/him)
Hate Speech im Netz: Erfahrungen, Umgang & Lösungen (DE / DGS, if needed) – Hybrid
In this hybrid session, we want to talk about experiences with hate speech on queer topics and how to deal with it. Big companies in particular often generate shitstorms on social media through public events. AUDI AG and Deutsche Telekom are examples of this. How do we deal with this internally? How do we express our stance externally? What solutions are available? We will explore these exciting questions in an interactive session. The session is aimed at anyone who develops and communicates a stance on queer issues.
Ann-Christin Stooß (she/her)

Ohne Demokratie keine Vielfalt: Wie sich Unternehmen gemeinsam mit Mitarbeitenden für Demokratie engagieren können. (DE / DGS, if needed) – on-site
Promoting democracy and diversity plays an important role in the workplace, where people come together every day in all their diversity. Strengthening people and the local economy are goals that Deutsche Bank pursues with its holistic approach to social engagement and the promotion of diversity, equal opportunities and participation. At a time when social challenges such as racism, populism, extremism and social inequality are becoming increasingly present, there is an urgent need for more dialog and encounters. In our workshop, you will gain an insight into how Deutsche Bank and its employees live and practically implement their social responsibility in Germany and worldwide. In addition, we want to talk to you about best practice of how companies, regardless of their size, employees, or position, can strengthen and help shape our democracy and cooperation.
Charlotte Wunn (sie)
Sy Legath (he/they)
“Our stories – sharing is caring“ – Ein Empowerment-Raum (DE / DGS, if needed) – on-site
Charlotte Wunn, 1st Chairperson of Intergeschlechtliche Menschen e.V. and Sy Legath, Project Lead at PROUT AT WORK, are opening a safer space and inviting participants to talk in small groups about personal experiences of discrimination within and outside their own communities. Open, approachable and without questioning lived experiences. In addition to providing an opportunity for exchange, the space is primarily intended to enable mutual empowerment and make solidarity tangible. It is explicitly aimed at people with multiple marginalization, inter*/trans* people and all those who have experienced discrimination in their own communities and/or want to sharpen their awareness of intersectional relationships in order to better combat discrimination in their companies.
Donna Hösslin (she/her)
Queerfeindlichkeit im Unternehmen erkennen und begegnen (DE) – online
What does queer hostility mean and what are microaggressions? What prevents people from reacting appropriately in such situations? This interactive online breakout session is not just about how to recognize queer hostility and discrimination in everyday (working) life. Intervention options and communication strategies will also provide appropriate tools for use. The session will only take place online and is aimed at anyone interested in raising awareness in both professional and private settings.
